Permanent make up, micro pigmentation and tattoo can all be used as synonym terms. It is considered as a combination of two art techniques (make-up and tattoo), both dating back to ancient times. The number of women choosing this particular technique has been increasingly rising up with the purpose of highlighting their characteristic features in a non-invasive, painless, bloodless and natural way!
We are speaking about a professional technique that outsets and marks the beginning of a long-term result enhanced by the micro-implantation of hypoallergenic and sterile substances deposited into the epidermis. It is considered to be an artistic procedure during which by the means of an extremely fine needle, a pigment substance is introduced into the skin that occupies the space located precisely beneath the epidermis.
It takes approximately 20 days for the pigment to start stabilizing into the skin and during that period of time a lot of fluctuations are to take place. Either applied to eyebrows, eyes or lips, permanent make up is completed in 2 sessions (in rare occasions in 3). The second treatment should take place in the course of 30-40 days following the first one. In the period of 1-2 years a repetitive treatment needs to be performed to maintain the best possible result, the desired shade, nuance and technique being achieved in order to be the proud owner of beautiful and well-shaped eyebrows, eyes or lips. A multitude of women, therefore, chooses to apply permanent make up, relishing its benefits in their everyday routine with the confession they have made the best possible investment for their face!
EYEBROWS
We can apply permanent make-up to thick eyebrows putting emphasis on the ideal shape at the arch. We can apply to languid, colorless or even non-existing eyebrows due to alopecia or hair thinning. Permanent make-up can be also applied to badly- shaped, disproportional eyebrows, as well as in case we need to cover up scars. Additionally it could be applied to asymmetrical eyebrows in accordance with the axes and the morphology of the face, thus shaping the ideal eyebrow arch at the axes, making in this way your face even prettier, because you should never forget that eyebrows do affect your look, your expression, style and age since they constitute nothing but the frame of your eyes and face!
#Microblading – hair stroke by stroke using different sized needles and different nuance to get natural realistic effect, the artificial hair stroke being intertwined with the natural one and having the same shade.
#Microshading – thin shading in between the hair basis
#Microblading/shading 3D – the combination of the two techniques mentioned above ensures a three-dimensional result. It is a unique technique as far as the result is concerned since the diameter of the thickness of the needle used is the same as the one of the natural hair and for this reason microblading treatment is considered unique for the achievement of realistic natural eyebrows!
#3D Permanent make-up PMU – hair stroke by stroke using different size of needles, techniques and colors of both hair and shade so that we would get a realistic or intense look
#Tribal brow – identical outlining with intense identical filling-in to get intense and more dramatic eyebrows
#Ombre brow – photo shading at the head of the eyebrow and more intense shade at the arch
#Powder brow – even and uniform light shading
#Tapping – discreet shading to get natural effect. According to the result we strive for, we choose the appropriate technique combining various techniques, needles and colors to get the result that will meet our expectations!
EYES
Everyone is staring nowhere else but at your eyes. Put an emphasis on them, therefore, making the most of PMU applying it either to large almond-shaped eyes, highlighting their form or to smaller, asymmetrical, cathodic or pycnophthalmus eyes, as well as to a cross-eyed face or to one having a slight squint, granting the ideal shape in accordance with the morphology and axes of the face. Techniques you can get for up and down eyelid.
#Eyeliner – contour at the up and down eyelid no matter which eyeliner technique we decide to choose, to get either an extremely thin line close to the eyelashes or an upward line widening at the end
#Smokey liner – shading on the eyelid for a more intense, diffused result
#Eyeshading – contour added at the external part of the eye as well, with an upward erasing of the shading
#Ombre – color shading with a gradient from the inner corner to the outer corner
#Powder liner – shading that gives a softer, more natural intensity
LIPS
Lips are a symbol of femininity and expression. With permanent makeup, we can correct asymmetries, enhance the contour, and add volume and intensity to the natural color of the lips.
#Lip liner – lip contouring to enhance and correct the shape
#Lip shade – lip shading for a more natural result
#Lip blush – a light tint for a natural and healthy-looking result
#3D lips – a technique that adds volume and depth to the lips
#Ombre lips – a color gradient from the center outward
#Full lips – full lip coverage for a bold result
Chest / Areola
We perform medical tattooing for the restoration of the nipple and areola after a mastectomy or other procedures. Using specialized techniques, we create a realistic result, restoring the natural appearance.
#Areola reconstruction – restoration of the nipple and areola
#Scar camouflage – concealment of scars with pigments
Eyebrow Tattoo Correction
We correct old or unsuccessful eyebrow tattoos using specialized techniques and proper color selection.

Our first meeting begins with a brief conversation, with the aim of getting to know each other better. You will verbally complete a questionnaire regarding your history, your role or profession, your personal style, whether you wear makeup in your daily life, along with a short overview of your health and any other information you may wish to share with me. During our consultation, I observe your facial expressions, which I will later take into account throughout the process. We will then move to the treatment area, which I have already prepared. Next, I will design the permanent makeup according to the vertical and horizontal axes of your face, in order to achieve the ideal shape for your features. Once you approve the design, I will proceed with the application. Throughout the procedure, I will explain exactly what is happening to your skin during the permanent makeup process, as well as the natural healing process that follows, and the aftercare you will need to follow carefully to achieve the best possible result. Once the procedure is completed, I will enhance your beautiful features with makeup, so that you can see the best version of yourself after the treatment! The duration of the procedure is usually around two hours.
STRICTLY SIX (6) HOURS BEFORE the procedure, you MUST NOT consume caffeine, tea, alcoholic or stimulating drinks, supplements/vitamins for boosting the body, painkillers, anticoagulants, anxiolytic or stimulant substances, drugs, as they increase blood flow. This can cause the pigment to be rejected during application and make the procedure more uncomfortable for the client. By strictly following the guidelines and instructions above, the procedure can be carried out smoothly and with minimal discomfort. Additionally, to avoid unpleasant and painful results, it is recommended not to be menstruating or expecting your cycle at least two days before the procedure, as the body is more sensitive to pain during that time.
In the market, there are strong anesthetics available that are also used in permanent makeup procedures, and their use is at the discretion of the responsible specialist. If it is mutually agreed and deemed necessary, we use them so that we can both enjoy this beautification process.
Pain is subjective; it is an individual, physiological matter with completely different reactions. Some women are more sensitive to pain and more prone to discomfort, while others are more resilient.
Let us remember the saying:
“Beauty is worth the pain.”
Proper aftercare during the healing process is extremely important for the longevity, performance, and final result. The body recognizes the pigment as a foreign substance and attempts to eliminate it. By carefully following the recommended healing process, we ensure maximum color retention according to each individual’s capacity to absorb the pigment. The factors that affect color and longevity are:
• Age and the rate of cell renewal
• The type and density of blood vessels in the area (eyebrows, eyes, lips)
• Skin type (oily/dry)
• Use of medications (antibiotics, chemotherapy, anticoagulants)
• The level of melanin
• Blood type
• Sun exposure (e.g., due to profession such as lifeguard or farmer)
• The level of dehydration the body—and ultimately the skin—will experience over time
The selection of the right shade is based on skin tone, eye color, natural hair color, and most importantly, the color of the existing hair. [For eyebrows, black pigment is never used.]
Today, an almost unlimited number of dermopigmentation pigments are mass-produced and commercially available in standardized form. It is important to know the origin of the pigments we use, as well as the procedures and the reliability of the companies that comply with regulations and hold the necessary certifications, thus ensuring their proper use and safe application. There are two types of pigments: organic and inorganic, both produced through strictly appropriate processes. The specialist must be aware of their exact composition and origin when selecting them. Therefore, we refer to certified pigments that are neutral, safe, stable, and non-allergenic. They are gradually integrated into the dermal tissue without interfering with the body's natural functions and remain there until they are naturally eliminated by the immune system. These pigments usually consist of microscopic particles, often metal oxides. These fine particles are mixed with liquid substances such as glycerin, water, metal-based carriers, and glycols that already exist in the body, facilitating their absorption into the skin. Finally, it is important to note that they are of natural origin and are recognized by the body as substances that can be gently eliminated without leaving traces.
The word “tattoo,” according to the English Oxford Dictionary (18th century), is related to the word tatau from Samoan culture, meaning “to strike” or “to mark.” The term dermopigmentation comes from the Greek words derma (skin) and stizo (to mark), meaning the insertion of pigment into the skin with a needle. This is performed using a tattoo machine, which moves a needle up and down at a rate of several hundred punctures per minute, inserting pigment into the skin at a depth of approximately 2 mm, reaching the subcutaneous layer, which is the deepest layer of the skin. In contrast, in permanent makeup (PMU), the penetration depth ranges from 0.3 to 0.8 mm. The pigment is placed in the dermis, just below the epidermis (which is why the result is more superficial). The pigment does not reach the blood vessels but remains within the epidermis and the intercellular space, which has the ability to regenerate and store material. For this reason, if the PMU procedure is not repeated, the pigment will remain for a few years before being gradually absorbed by the body and fading. Body tattoo inks contain synthetic additives designed to last a lifetime, whereas PMU pigments typically last between 1 to 5 years. In conclusion, PMU pigments not only differ from body tattoo inks but also do not penetrate the skin at the same depth.
